Come in, it’s open
This is not a video or a slideshow. It is SociWeb actually running, for a made-up club with 180 members, half-collected subscriptions, this year’s fixtures and last year’s photos.
Log in with the details below and poke at anything you like. Add a member, delete them, raise a batch of subs, change a photo. You cannot break it.
The logins, which is what you came for
Two different doors. Start with the first one.
member·memberdemo2026 What a normal member sees: their own record, their payments, their membership card on the phone, the fixture list and last year’s photos.committee·committeedemo What the treasurer sees: new members, subscriptions, the direct debit file that goes to the bank, the kit shop and the Christmas raffle.Everything you do is wiped overnight and it is back to this tomorrow. So go on, break something.

If you have only got five minutes
Look at these four things, in this order. They are the ones that usually decide it.
Log in as member and open your card
It comes up with the photo and a code. It saves to the phone and works on the door: somebody scans it and that is it.
Log out, log in as committee, go to Subscriptions
Three figures right at the top: what has been charged, what has come in, and what is genuinely still owed. That last one is the question you get asked at every meeting.
Click on Direct debit batch
A file downloads. That file goes straight up to the bank and the payments go out on their own. This is the part nobody believes until they see it.
Try the family discount
There is a screen for discount bands. Set it so the third family member onwards gets 20 % off, then raise the subs again. It works the whole thing out without you touching a single payment.
And this is visible without logging in
Because a club also has to show itself to people who are not in it yet:
- This year’s fixtures — with ticket sales if you need them
- The photos — members upload their own, the committee approves them
- The rules and constitution — searchable, so you stop sending them round on WhatsApp
- The join-us form — fill one in for fun and watch it reach the committee
I built this because at my own club the membership list lived in a spreadsheet only one person could open, the payments were entered by hand one at a time, and every September somebody lost a weekend working out who had actually paid. The website was my job, so fixing it landed on me. None of us are IT people. That is exactly why SociWeb is built the way it is.
